Iskratel's "amphibian" SI3000 Lumia GPON OLT, is the work of a Slovenian author Andrej Kržišnik and team. It is the first solution in the world for broadband optical access that combines the traditional and virtualized world on the same hardware platform. This way, operators avoid the entire investment cycle in transforming the next generation access network.
