Joan is a smart e-ink digital notice board, calendar and organizer. It consumes 99 percent less energy than competing products which use classic LCD displays. The Slovenian company Visionect won the award for the best innovation in the field of ecological design and sustainable technologies for their Joan Meeting Room Assistant at the 2016 CES consumer electronics fair in Las Vegas.
