In 1985, the Slovenian cultural center Cankarjev dom was closed for more than two months and temporarily turned into a high-tech factory in complete secrecy. Engineers from Iskra Delta, under the supervision of the secret services, created and assembled parts day and night to set up one of the most extensive computer networks in the world, which today could simply be described as a kind of start of the Chinese Internet.
