Pipistrel is the world's leading manufacturer of ultralight motor-gliders and auxiliary engine gliders. Researchers at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center in California are testing several electric drives designed by a Slovenian comany Pipistrel, which the company uses in their Taurus Electro G2 series serial aircraft. They are testing the possibilities for developing a new electric experimental aircraft.
