Slovenian company Fotona was founded a mere four years after Harold Maiman invented the first laser in 1960. Since 1964, Fotona has been focused on the development of laser systems, making it one of the pioneers and global leaders in the development of laser technology used for medical purposes. They received prominent international awards: Best Multi-Use Energy-Based Device, Best New Technology and Pearl of Aesthetic Dermatology Award to name a few. They also received recognition for the Dynamis Pro and StarWalker MaQXter medical laser systems which provide the new non-invasive face rejuvenation method known as "Fotona 4D laser face lifting“.
